By reducing seemingly diverse topics as spirituality, society, culture, and science into an integrated theory, Wilber manages to outline some amazing insights on the connected nature of human consciousness, the physical and spiritual realms, and relevant ways to use these insights to achieve a broader understanding of the world. Below is an example of the 4 quadrants of Integrated Theory as it relates to human consciousness.
The Marketing Takeaways are plenty, but one stands out for sure:
By increasing our understanding of human development, and the integral, nested hierarchies of consciousness (individual, objective, cultural and social), we can prepare our messages/advertisements/emails to play on these strings more effectively. From the flap. . . .
Here is a concise, comprehensive overview of Wilber’s revolutionary thought and its application in today’s world. In A Theory of Everything, Wilber uses clear, nontechnical language to present complex, cutting-edge theories that integrate the realms of body, mind, soul, and spirit. He then demonstrates how these theories and models can be applied to real-world problems in areas such as politics, medicine, business, education, and the environment. Wilber also discusses daily practices that readers take up in order to apply this integrative vision to their own everyday lives.
