TITLE – “Denver’s Distracted Drivers”

CLIENT – The Sawaya Law Firm

GOAL –
With traffic accidents as a main source of clientele for a personal injury law firm, this piece was aimed at Denver drivers to raise awareness about distracted driving. The goal was to mix observational experimentation, humor, and analysis to produce a valuable piece of content aimed at the target audience – drivers on social media.

RESULTS –
Media placements on over 200 news sites, and over 10k spins on FB and YouTube combined.

TITLE – “7 Tips on How To Drive Without Distractions”

CLIENT – The Sawaya Law Firm

GOAL – We decided to reach out to teens, who have a disproportionate amount of risk when it comes to auto accidents. We wanted to create something delightful and absurd and memorable. We created a landing page, press releases, and pushed on social.

RESULTS – 53k views, signed cases, ROI of +300%

TITLE – “Auto Accident Lead Gen Landing Page”

CLIENT – The Sawaya Law Firm

GOAL – Realizing the importance of turning our site into more of a sales-driven vehicle, I created a Sales Letter for the company. This outlined solutions to pain points identified by client interviews, and was placed within copywriting frameworks provided by Marcus Sheridan and Ray Edwards. Once completed, we turned this into a landing page using UnBounce, for all potential auto accident leads coming from AdWords.

GOAL – Based on client interviews, the auto insurance companies and their policies are confusing territory, especially after an auto accident. This was created to address specific concerns and pain points of our clientele – what you need to do, and what you need to avoid, after an auto accident.

GOAL – One of the most compelling and effective sales techniques is utilizing real testimonials that reaffirm and support claims made in marketing communications. I wanted to incorporate more “b-roll” to help the narrative and make a deeper impact.

TITLE – “So Now What?”

GOAL –
To attract a younger demographic, I made a series of animated shorts based off of findings discovered while interviewing clients about their experiences finding a law firm after an accident. We attached the animation to an AdWords campaign and associated landing page.

RESULTS – The whole series received well over 100k views on FB and Youtube combined! Signed cases – phone calls from fans! Estimated ROI = +1000%

TITLE – Film on The Rocks Sponsorship Commercial

CLIENT – The Sawaya Law Firm

GOAL –
Part of a sponsorship package we signed with Red Rocks’ “Film on The Rocks” series, included a 30 second spot to show an ad to all the attendees, right before the movie started. In an effort to create marketing that matched the tone and tenor of the distribution channel, I did not want to run a TV commercial – so I came up with the spot to put our senior partner in the location, to talk about what the venue means to Colorado.

RESULTS – No immediate feedback/sales – small to little traffic to the site.

TITLE – Attention Merchants Timeline (freelance)

GOAL – I write book reports for all of the marketing books I read – this is a great pleasure, and a fantastic way to consume and retain the information in these typically dense books. Tim Wu’s “The Attention Merchants” was such a fascinating and Earth-shattering book, I had to share the story with more people.

RESULTS – This project took me about a month or so to complete, but was sanctioned by the author and received praise and shares from Mr. Wu! It has relatively few spins, but the engagement has been strong once someone hooks in.
